I'm José Calvente, a freelance visual storyteller specialising in photography, videography, and retouching. I'm based between Stockholm and Mallorca, but I work wherever the story takes me. I studied Commercial Photography at Fotoskolan Stockholm, and for the past two years I've been working as a freelance at Utbildningsradion (Swedish Educational Broadcasting).

With a strong background in live events, I’m experienced in capturing energy, atmosphere, and fleeting moments under pressure. My work blends dynamic composition with atmospheric aesthetics, focusing on mood, movement, and emotion in every frame.

I'm always exploring new ways to tell stories — currently diving into AI and machine learning together with my virtual assistant Nova L3-37, expanding my creative toolbox and pushing the boundaries of visual storytelling even further.

At the heart of it all is a love for storytelling, turning ordinary moments into cinematic experiences.
